Boherbue Comprehensive School and Ennistymon Community School served up a thrilling contest in the TUS Corn Éamainn Uí Mháirtín (Under 15 C Football) Final, played at TUS Midwest on April 16th, 2026.

Boherbue Comprehensive School started the strongest of the two getting off to a great start scoring a goal and two points within the first ten minutes of the game, but Ennistymon answered back levelling matters with a great kick passing game. The game was a back and forth affair from then on with the two teams trading scores before Ennistymon Community school got a purple patch right before halftime giving them an eight point lead at the halftime break.

Boherbue, once again starting strong getting a score from the throw in and kept fighting bravely to chip away at the Ennistymon lead getting a few more scores on the board. Ennistymon converted some more chances right before Boherbue enjoyed a purple patch of their own, getting some more scores including a goal from a penalty, followed by a goal from open play that saw Boherbue lead by three points going into the final five minutes of the game.

A few missed opportunities of scores for Boherbue almost proved detrimental to their chances of winning the game as Ennistymon carried the ball down right in front of the Boherbue goal before being taken down for a penalty that was then converted, levelling the game going into the last thirty seconds of the game. Boherbue got their hands on the ball moving it well into their forward line before slotting over a point on the last kick of the game to give them the one point victory.

At the final whistle in TUS Midwest, it finished Boherbue Comprehensive School 4‑10 Ennistymon Community School 3‑12, the result of a superbly contested final that kept everyone on edge to the very end.
